The second festival of sports and martial arts Fighting Russia was held last Sunday in Kaliningrad. It was organized by Dmitry Chumakov, president of the Association of Russian Martial Arts (ARBI), chairman of the local branch of DOSAAF of the Moskovsky district of Kaliningrad, with the support of the regional government and the regional branch of DOSAAF.

In the lobby of the Regional Youth Culture Center 15 federations, schools and clubs set up their stands, and coaches and athletes gave advice to everyone.

The festival Fighting Russia was visited by the Minister of Sports of the Kaliningrad Region Oleg Kosenkov. He examined the stands, talked with the leaders of sports clubs and festival participants.

“It's great that today there are a lot of children from different clubs and schools. This is great, because it is at this age that real men are formed from boys – the future defenders of the Motherland.

They continue to practice martial arts, work as trainers. Here Alexei Uskov teaches grappling classes, the owner of the maroon beret Vladimir Kondrat teaches children hand-to-hand combat. Most importantly, coming here, the kids with the help of their parents and coaches will be able to choose their direction. And after some time, we will be glad to see these guys in the regional branch of DOSAAF in order to prepare them in a military specialty for service in the Armed Forces.

In the second part of the festival Fighting Russia demonstration performances of representatives of sports clubs, schools, organizations took place. Spectators and participants of the festival were welcomed by Oleg Urbanyuk and from the regional government Sergey Shuvalov, Leading Consultant of the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Municipal Development and Internal Policy of the Kaliningrad Region.

The program was opened by the pupils of the club Ronin, the official representative of the World Real Aikido Center in Kaliningrad. The athletes dedicated their performance to our Slavic brothers, the Serbs. It was in Serbia, in Belgrade, that the legendary creator of the style of real aikido, Lubomir Vracarevich, founded the World Center for this type of martial arts – a dynamic martial art that is as close as possible to the conditions of a modern street.Leaded by the Ronin club Evgeny Kharin, winner of the Black Belting, 1 Dan.

The masters of knife fencing, Japanese martial arts, Grappling, Pankration, Thai boxing, judo, sambo, and special hand -to -hand combat showed their art … Representatives of Arbi completed demonstrations. They demonstrated the elements of self -defense, self -insurance in hand -to -hand combat, elements of lower acrobatics, protection from blows, work with firearms and cold weapons. And the exclusive number from the military Cossack culture – the flanking of the Cossack checker – with the participation of Natalia Chumakova went under the stormy applause of the hall. At the end of the speech, the entire Arbi group of 30 people went out to welcome the audience with the flags of DOSAAF, the Baltic Cossack Union of the Kaliningrad Region and the Association of Russian Martial Arts.

It is impossible to highlight the best. All clubs are wonderful! But I was delighted with work with weapons of participants in the Association of Russian Martial Arts. Therefore, I reward Arbi with a prize of the regional branch of DOSAAF-a certificate for the acquisition of a mass-power layout of the Kalashnikov AK-74 assault rifle,

– announced Oleg Urbanyuk. He handed the certificate to the chairman of the Arbi, the instructor of the Academy of Life Processing of Human in a special army hand -to -hand combat method by Academician Kadochnikov Natalya Chumakova.

The chairman of the Kaliningrad branch of the “Russian Union of Afghanistan Veterans” Alexander Loginov presented honorary letters and amber medals to the youngest participants in the festival, as well as the athletes and organizers of the festival. Dmitry Chumakov was awarded the medal For Merit of the Russian Union of Veterans of Afghanistan. He thanked everyone who took part in the second festival Battle Russia, wished athletes and coaches of new achievements and successes.
