The 10 best television programs for Spaniards
Although there are points in common, the ranking of television programs with the most audience in Spain is different from the list with the best television programs for Spaniards. The last Personality Media Image Study of 2021 has asked more than 16,600 people about their preferences on current television and the result has yielded a clear winner: Antena 3.
Antena 3 is, for the eighth consecutive year, the television channel most valued by Spaniards. It is, furthermore, in all the age groups reflected in the study: under 20 years old, viewers from 21 to 35 years old, people from 36 to 45 years old, public from 46 to 60 years old and, finally, also among the elderly 60 years old. The second position in those same time slots, with the exception of those under 20 years of age –Telecinco is second there– goes to La Sexta, also from Grupo Atresmedia.
Of the 11 variables analyzed in the Personality Media study, Antena 3 is the favorite of those surveyed in 10: Higher quality (26%), Varied programming (30%), Best news programs (30%), Entertaining (30%) , Good presenters (33%), Innovative (21%), Everyone likes it (30%), I identify with its programming (23%), Favorite network (17%) and Greater credibility (22%). The only variable in the report that Antena 3 does not lead is the one corresponding to the most respectful channel. The one chosen in this section by the interviewees is La 1, with 31%.
Ranking of programs with the highest quality
The good news for Antena 3 with the results of this study is also reflected in the ranking of television programs with higher quality. Antena 3 tops the podium with Pasapalabra (chosen by 43% of those surveyed), Antena 3 Noticias (36%) and Karlos Arguiñano in your kitchen (32%).
The format of La Sexta Research team is fourth on the list (31%), followed by La 1 newscast (30%), La Sexta Noticias (27%), El hormiguero (27%), Lo de Évole ( 27%) and the spaces of La 1 Masterchef (27%) and Direct Spain (25%), which complete the list of the 10 highest quality television programs in Spain.
