About 4000 ago, the first horse chariot appeared in the Southern Urals, which subsequently became an example for the creation of Egyptian and Roman.

– Arkaim is one of the most striking and significant brands not only of the Chelyabinsk region, but also of our entire country. This is a whole steppe civilization – 27 fortified settlements of the Bronze Age. The first of them archaeologists opened the settlement of Sintashta, and there were unique chariots – the oldest of all chariots found in the world, says the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexey Tevesler, noting that thanks to a talented team, a film was born, which will subsequently watch a large audience and may come to the Chelyabinsk region to get acquainted with history, culture and nature.

Indeed, there is something to lure – after all, the film crew recorded the experiment of local archaeologists who decided to recreate a chariot and tell about the history of the appearance of a chariot.

The shooting was held last summer and autumn in Chelyabinsk, Chelyabinsk region, Greece, Great Britain and Armenia, and a major premiere for everyone will be held on May 9 at 13.10 and 20.00 on the television channel “My Planet”. – But at the same time it is also a huge responsibility, a very difficult challenge from a television point of view. We had to very clearly show the civilization, which disappeared 4 thousand years ago. It is boring to tell the story of people who have made a grand technological breakthrough and changed the whole world of the Bronze Age, ”says the man.
