Great things cannot be done alone. Help of homeless animals in Belarus can truly be called a great thing: we do not have a strong legislative base about animals, and in the minds of the majority there was no understanding that they are as alive as us. In such difficult conditions, only dozens of millions decide to really help our smaller brothers.

The public association of the protection of animals Aegis consists precisely of such people. Permanent members and volunteers – all of them absolutely disinterestedly make an invaluable contribution to one big thing.

Almost all the wards of the Aegis and volunteers require medical assistance. Whether it is a simple inspection of the veterinarian before the construction of a new house or a serious urgent operation – all this requires giant efforts and, of course, financial costs. Therefore, it is especially pleasant that there were professionals who did not leave a small community in great trouble. People who know how to share their time and their heart, their money and their capabilities. This is the Veterinary Clinic Doctor of the Vet, which since 2007 has constantly helped the wards of the Egides.

Cooperation began back in 2007, when one of the leaders of the clinic Dr. Vet Tatyana Bogdan invited the chairman of the Egida to the meeting Natalia Belyanova. It was the social position of the leadership of Dr. Vet in that meeting that launched such a long cooperation in the field of charity. The first veterinarians who began to help the Egis were Sergey Isachenko, Pavel Lomonosov and Elena Kurzina.

The Aigid is still remembered how Elena Kurzina came to apartments with sick dogs and treated them for free, how Sergey Mikhailovich and Pavel Leonidovich operated on the first dogs of the Fauna of the City and Aigida. This first experience of the joint salvation of stray animals will always connect the “aegid” and volunteers with warm memories with “Doctor Vet”.

Since 2007, thousands of operations, vaccination, examinations, chipulations have been carried out.

Thousands of animals went through the hands of Aibolites Doctor Vet. A huge number was saved here and prepared for transmission to the families (Aegis is always trying to transfer custody to new owners vaccinated, sterilized and with a veterinary passport).

And here is the last example of a large -scale cooperation of the Egida with Dr. Vet. In the city of P.The colodyeshas lives a flock of more than 50 dogs: http://egida.by/news/2015-01-30-353. To stop their endless reproduction, the Egis sent letters to the veterinary clinics of Minsk with a request for help. The Veterinary Clinic Doctor Vet was the first to agree to sterilize part of these dogs free of charge. It is pleased that the leadership and veterinarians of the clinic are also interested in the number of homeless animals is regulated in our country not only in deposit and shooting, as the state proposes, but also humane: by sterilization. And six operations have already been carried out. And these are only six bitches, if they had not remained sterilized, only in two years about 300 next homeless puppies could be born!

Let us recall some of the stories of the wards of the Egids, who received assistance in the clinic Doctor Vet.

Juno's dog . A two -year -old dog hit the capture of a pregnant woman. Despite its complex and dangerous position, the dog struck everyone with excellent spiritual qualities – kindness, affectionate disposition, sociability. Juno gave birth to 10 puppies, who were immediately euthanized on the fauna of the city. After childbirth, the dog began to bleed and urgent sterilization was required, which was performed by the doctor of Dr. Wet clinic Sergey Isachenko. A difficult story, a difficult operation … Sterilization was successful, the volunteers coped with the care of the dog, and Juno received a chance for a long and happy life. The dog was found a house and the owner!

Cat Baron . This cat lay under a bush in the yard, all in flies and their larvae, lay motionless, but at the same time fiercely fought off those who tried to touch it. He was hardly placed in the box, sealed with tape and brought to the Doctor of the Vet. They asked for a doctor Pavel Lomonosov, who accepted the volunteers almost without queue. The cat’s condition was serious. The temperature is 33.4 °, the strongest dehydration, a sacrum or pelvis, hernia, but not umbilical, but located above, on the side (most likely – the traumatic rupture of the peritoneum from the blow). And all in the larvae of flies. First of all, they laid on a dropper. They dripped for a long time, a lot and slowly. Pavel Lomonosov said the following: “Everything is secondary, the main thing is to“ raise it ”now, it makes no sense either in the X -ray, and even more so in the operations, while the cat is on the verge of death.” The volunteers who brought the baron to the first reception will never forget how calmly and dignily Pavel Lomonosov took a cat, almost all rotten and in maggots, and went to wash him right in the clinic. As he carefully carried out all the manipulations, how he tried to pull out this cat from the clutches of death … The baron began to recover, but he could not defeat the disease.

Dog Chance (LODE) . This dog, as a result of an accident, lost two paws and tails. The volunteers of the Egida took him to the clinic Dr. Vet, where Anatoly Yarotsky removed the remains of crushed paws and tails. Already on the third day after the operation, the chance asked outside.At first, quite awkwardly, but, surprisingly, he began to walk – even on a leash! For a month and a half, he was processed wounds, carried to the clinic and fed well. Today, the dog is actively moving on two paws and, it would seem, does not even notice that he is not like everyone else. And most importantly – he found his house!

Cat Matroskin . This cat was remembered by many visitors to the site Egida.by, since several times the messages appeared that he died or he was being taken to sleep. Matroskina with fractures of the paws was found by caring people and taken to the clinic Doctor Vet. The doctor Valentin Vasiltsov took his fate into his own hands and did not let go to a happy recovery. And I had to go through a lot-a severe traumatic brain injury, which began, the gangrene, amputation of the paw and a long, long treatment. And even if Matroskin does not have one paw, but there is a long and happy life in a warm house and with a loving master.

Lacke dog . This dog, which fell on the fauna of the city, after sterilization, had an inner seam. They tried to turn to a local vestvention, but they refused to help her there. As a result, the outer seam was also spread, the intestines broke out at Lakka. She was urgently taken to Dr. Vet, where the doctor Sergei Isachenko operated on the dog for more than two hours. And they did not take payment from the Egid in the clinic. Now Lakka has a new house!

Dog Ray . Sharpei from Smorgon was picked up with a broken head. According to eyewitnesses, the dog went in this state for at least a week. Ray was caught, brought to Minsk. In the clinic “Doctor of Vet”, the dog was accepted immediately, despite a large number of patients. First aid was provided by the doctor Denis Akintyv. He waved his wounds for a long time. Antibiotics, treatment of wounds, eyes and nose were prescribed. Now Ray is healthy and pleases the new owners!

In addition to the examination and treatment of animals, Dr. Wet provides great assistance to the Egis.
