Andalusia is the largest region in Spain, so the climate in different parts of it may vary. The summer months in Andalusia are the best for swimming, and the winter and off-season are perfect for sightseeing holidays, as the weather still remains quite warm and mild. The warmest of the three coasts of Andalusia is the Costa de Almeria and the resort of the same name Almeria, here the climate is most similar to the North African coast. January

On the Costa de la Luz, precipitation is possible in the first half of the month, the weather is cloudy with clearings, the temperature is up to +14, from the second half of the month it warms up to +18, +20 and sunny weather sets in. To travel around Andalusia in January, it is enough to have light windbreakers or sweaters, closed shoes, in the first half of the month you may need an umbrella or a raincoat.

February

In February, the weather in Andalusia stays almost without precipitation, the temperature remains the same – at a level of +13 to +20 degrees, partly cloudy is possible. In general, the February weather is the same in almost all regions of Andalusia, it can only be a little colder on the Costa de la Luz. In March, stable sunny weather sets in, in the central part of Andalusia the temperature regime is from +18 to +24 degrees, without precipitation. April

In May, in Central Andalusia, the weather can already be quite hot and reach up to +28 degrees. In Almeria, without precipitation from +22 to +27 degrees, sunny. On the Costa del Sol, from the second half of May, the weather can be set to +30 degrees. On the Costa de la Luz, the thermometers are set at +25 degrees. At this time, long sleeves are no longer required, you can also safely take open shoes with you. It is also recommended to have a light hat that hides the head from the sun.

In June, the air temperature in the center of Andalusia (Seville, Cordoba, Granada) is kept at +30 and above, on some days the thermometer can reach +36 degrees. In Almeria, warm bathing weather is +25, +27, on some days up to +32 degrees. August

In August, in the central regions of Andalusia, it is still hot, the temperature is between +35 and +39 degrees, sunny, without precipitation. For Almeria +32, +34, no precipitation, partly cloudy. In Malaga and other resorts of the Costa del Sol, the temperature stays at +26, +28, on some days up to +36, +39 degrees, without precipitation, sunny. In Cadiz, August is the warmest month, the temperature is +31, +33, sunny, without precipitation, ideal for swimming in the Atlantic. September
