Amateur and professional sport are two different sports that are distinguished by the regulations of the competition, fees, the level of training and great prospects. Amateur sport, much more sparing in relation to the athlete than professional.

In amateur sports, it all depends on the desire of the person himself to achieve some heights in one form or another, his character and ambitions. In matters of beauty and health, this is manifested in the desire of a quick result (either in weight loss or in a set of muscle mass) and without effort.

Amateur athletes play sports for good physical shape and perform at various competitions, tournaments, protecting the honor of a sports school or sports club.

Professional sport is distinguished by the level of training, strict mode and training schedule, sports diet and sports nutrition to be in shape. Sport is the only type of earnings for professionals, but an amateur can work in a completely different field, receiving income from this.

Food supplements among sports enthusiasts are popular, new, more advanced views are constantly appearing, and besides, the number of stores that distribute sports nutrition is growing.

Among the extensive assortment of food additives, it is difficult for an ordinary person to determine a high -quality and truly useful product. Advertising complicates the situation, which in most cases does not give complete information about a certain product.Unfortunately, there are few specialists who know all the nuances today. To everything, very often they have material interest, as they receive money for the distribution of sports supplements.

The technical regulations of the Customs Union TR TS 027/2012 “On the safety of certain types of specialized food products, including dietary medical and dietary preventive nutrition” set out legislative information of the main provisions

-Food products for the nutrition of athletes are specialized food products of a given chemical composition, increased nutritional value and (or) directed efficiency, consisting of a complex of products or represented by their individual types, which has a specific effect on increasing the adaptive capabilities of a person to physical and nervous-emotional stresses ;

– safety requirements for certain types of specialized food products, including dietary medical and dietary preventive nutrition;

– requirements for packaging and labeling of certain types of specialized food products, including dietary medical and dietary preventive nutrition;

– safety requirements for production, storage, transportation (transportation), sale and disposal of certain types of specialized food products, including dietary medical and dietary preventive nutrition;

Departments of technical regulation and metrology in many regions of Kazakhstan, checks of the quality and safety of sports nutrition, and in many cases sold products, does not comply with the forms and rules for assessing compliance with the following indicators:

Sports nutrition products have their specific side effects and contraindications:

– energy are contraindicated in hypertension and patients with heart – vascular diseases;

– taking proteins creates an increased load on the liver and kidneys – are contraindicated in renal or liver failure;

-amino acids are contraindicated to people with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;

– Heiners are contraindicated for people with metabolic disorders, with diseases of the endocrine system- diabetes mellitus and hypo- and hyperthyroidism;

– Anabolics and synthetic additives – steroids and similar substances are of particular danger. They significantly increase the risk of cancer, negatively affect potency and infertility [3].

Sports enthusiasts often, when taking sports food products, should be consulted by specialists, nutritionists, sports doctors, and not sports with fitness centers.

We conducted an anonymous questionnaire among students of 1-6 courses of various specialties of the university and students of 1-3 courses of a medical college. According to the survey, 56 % of students more sympathize with the mesomorphic physique, and 44 % of ectomorphic students (Fig. 1.)

For the most part, they are made from natural products – milk, eggs, soybeans, etc., which, thanks to modern technology, acquire a look, taste and quality that are very far from the original product.

Of course, some supplements are indeed very nutritious and beneficial. Nobody doubts this. But very often it turns out that effective concentrates are just a drop in a sea of ​​useless and empty products. There is no doubt that none of them can compete with natural, natural food.

Thus, lovers of sports nutrition, your choice should be in favor of health, and not to the detriment of it.
