In addition to striving to win at the annual OOO competitions, participants come to the Spartakiad for the sake of simple human communication. After all, the opportunity to spend time with colleagues (including from other cities) in an informal setting is given to employees of gas companies not so often. An excellent reason for meetings is the traditional zonal games, which began their history back in 1999. For the first time, Avtograd became the host of the competition for the first time, this time hosting representatives of six cities: Ufa, Perm, Orenburg, Saratov, Izhevsk and Samara. The guests were accommodated in a comfortable recreation center Elektronik in the Yagodin forest, and daily special buses took athletes to the competitions. The solemn opening ceremony of the Spartakiad took place in Olympus on May 18. After a series of words of welcome from the guests of honor and performances by Togliatti artists, the members of the volleyball and mini-football teams immediately, as they say, got down to business. In addition to the above-mentioned sports, the gas workers tried their hand at athletics, swimming, table tennis and kettlebell lifting during the multi-day sports forum. The latter, by the way, unlike other areas, is held only once every two years, and it is precisely the Samara Region that has the honor of hosting a large-format Spartakiad. It should be noted that athletes from Orenburg became the best in kettlebell pushing. In team sports, meanwhile, group stage matches were taking place. The next day, employees of the gas companies met at the Torpedo stadium to try their hand at cross-country. The fastest were representatives of Bashkirgaz LLC from Ufa. It should be noted that the result demonstrated by the winner is able to compete with the time of the masters of the queen of sports, which means that there were really serious athletes among the participants in the zonal games. In swimming, which took place in the pool of the USC Olympus, the team of the Saratov Gas Company became the best, at that time capturing the palm in several forms at once. Saratov, in addition, excelled in the tournament in mini-football and women's volleyball, which eventually brought them the team first place. Last year, the winners were employees of a gas company from Ufa, but this year they were less lucky – the Ufa team won only the men's volleyball tournament and came second in the overall standings. By the way, on the volleyball court in the finals, the players of the Samararegiongaz team met with Bashkirgaz, who took an honorable second place. Athletes from the capital of the province participated in only three sports out of six presented and performed more than adequately, becoming bronze medalists in the women's volleyball tournament and fourth in table tennis. But perhaps the main award for representatives of Samara and Togliatti was positive reviews to the organizers of the event as a whole. Hospitality, worthy refereeing, a common relaxed festive atmosphere, all this was appreciated by the participants in the Spartakiad. The leadership of the General Director Andrei Kislov and his deputy for general issues of Mikhail Kutsev played a significant role in the warm reception of guests. Summing up and awarding the winners and winners took place on the final day of the competition on May 21. In a festive atmosphere in the Hall of DKIT AvtoVAZ OJSC, the guests presented a grandiose concert that completed zonal games on a major note! The next day, participants in the traditional sports day went home to meet again next spring. And the winners of the competitions have already begun in Togliatti for the final competitions of Interregiongaz LLC, which will be held in September and collect the best representatives of all territorial zones of Russia. Then the national team of Interregiongaz LLC will be formed – it will have to defend the honor of the enterprise at the All -Russian Gazprom Spartakiad. In conclusion, I would like to quote the words of the Deputy General Director for Strategy and Development of Interregiongaz LLC Sergey Ryzhikov: “I am pleased to see here those people whom I met at the Gazprom’s Great Spartakiad, and I want to note that, conducting such competitions within my enterprise, we We invest in the health of employees, and this will necessarily affect their work for the good of the company. ” That is why the leadership of Interregiongaz LLC does not spare the means and stably holds traditional championships within the due date, and the participants in the competition themselves believe that the best athletes are the best workers!
