We decided to figure it out – for this we have collected all the information available today on all issues related to traveling to foreign mountains.

Color rating of countries

The World Health Organization monitors new cases of disease in Europe and posts all the information in one source.

In fact, this is a rating of countries in terms of incidence of COVID-19.

Each country has a color status (table on the left), and indication on the map. For example, green are countries with less than 75 cases of COVID-19 infection per hundred thousand inhabitants over the past 14 days.

Plus to the list of WHO, each country leads its own register, according to which it determines the possibility of entering tourists. This is important information, a lot depends on the color status of the country. Consider this when planning your trip.

At the time of writing, Russia is in the “orange” zone, which is considered close to “very bad”.

We recommend a useful official resource with constantly updated information – Reopen.europa.eu. Choose the country of entry (not Russia!) And the country of destination, and get the current instruction for entry and exit.

PCR, antibodies test, antigen-test

The terms PCR and antibodies test we learned last year. In this, an antigen test is added to them. A row of the camp asks to present him at the entrance. What is this research?

Antigen test is a more fast and accurate PCR alternative. It shows the infection of the COVID-19 in the first day and is done in a few hours or even faster.

Please note that if you make a PCR test or an antigen test for a trip abroad, then the results are always needed in English, writing a surname-as in a passport, from the moment of taking the material for analysis until the appointment in the country should not pass for more than 48 hours.

Health passport

Health passport is a European innovation operating from the beginning of summer 2021. EudCC (Euro Union Digital Covid Certificate) or Certificato Verde (for Italy) – a mobile application showing the covid status of a person. It must be presented when checking in a hotel and visiting public places, including cafes and restaurants.

If you are not a citizen of the European Union, but have been vaccinated with a vaccine recognized there, and you have a national application with a QR code, everything is in order, just show the code to everyone, whether in digital or paper form.

The basis for obtaining a DCC is a full vaccination with one of the vaccines recognized in Europe (Janssen, Astrazeneka, Moderna, Pfizer) or a certificate of COVID-19.

Our Sputnik V, as well as other domestic vaccines, have not yet been accepted by the European Medical Agency and WHO. Sputnik V has been hanging in the “under rolling review” status since about April.

Everything is changing quite quickly, and it is possible that by the winter season it will be possible to ride beautifully in the Three Valleys with Sputnik V.

European and American vaccines are not allowed into our country, this is the policy. But not everything is so hopeless, colleagues! Life hack at the end of the article as a reward to those who have read it.

So which way to look when thinking about the coming season?

FIRST SERIES: The Alps and a few other popular regions. France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Andorra, Finland

Let's just say – there is almost no chance. The most beloved, knurled, alas, alas, the most inaccessible – tourists from Russia are not allowed anywhere. We understand.

AUSTRIA. Long, expensive, but there is a chance

Good news right away: Austria is open to tourists, including from Russia.

The visa center works, visas are issued. The set of documents is normal, only insurance should cover, among other things, the risks of COVID-19.

The second good news is that air traffic is open, planes fly to Vienna from Moscow and St. Petersburg twice a week. Information about direct, familiar flights to Salzburg is not yet available.

72 hours before entry, you need to register on the website of the Austrian Ministry of the Interior by filling out a form in German or English. You will need to specify the address where you will be quarantined.

We say Austria – we mean Fischer!

Upon entry, Russian travelers will have to present a certificate of vaccination with foreign vaccines or a certificate of COVID-19 in German or English, or an antigen test no older than 48 hours or a PCR test no older than 72 hours at the time of crossing the border.

All certificates must be with the original blue seal of the laboratory (clinic), a doctor's signature and a QR code.

All those not vaccinated with approved vaccines are sent to a ten-day quarantine. You can leave earlier if you get a negative test on the fifth day of your stay.

You will have to do tests regularly. Laboratories addresses.

In commercial medical institutions, one test costs from 69 Eu for an adult and from 49 Eu for a child. The cheapest tests are at Vienna Airport. Some hotels have started doing free tests for their guests.

If you receive a negative test result, you are well done and lucky and can continue to travel on your program.Keep in mind that at the resort your QR code can and will be checked for every opportunity, be prepared for testing every three days.

We advise you to study the option with the funny name Alles gurgelt. At the arrival of Vienna, you need to register, get a barcode in the system, for it in the BIPA store they will give free eight boxes – sets for conducting the dough at home, independently. Further – it’s not difficult: hide your mouth, spit out a floor in a test tube, according to the instructions and until 9 a.m., take the reception point in any REWE chain store. The result comes after 24 hours, to the phone, and this is the very coveted QR with which you will be allowed everywhere.

If you are not lucky, and the test is positive: contact a free hotline by number 1450. They will tell you about the following steps and advise an action plan that will help to protect yourself and others. Be sure to inform your insurance company, the phones are indicated in your policy.

The Austrians recommend installing the Stopp Corona application, this is a monitoring system of confirmed cases COVID-19.

In general, a trip to Austria is 5-10 days longer and more than a thousand euros more expensive, but you will roll in Tyrol!

Official representatives of the Austria tourist office optimistically expect at least 50 thousand Russian tourists in the future winter. Why not?

Andorra. Yes, but no

Andorra, in principle, does not object to tourists. Yes, he doesn’t even mind Russian. One trouble: planes from Russia do not directly fly there, you need to get through Spain or France. But Spain and France are not allowed by tourists.

Andorra is not a member of the Schengen agreement, but the Schengen visa needs entry. At the entrance, a PCR test is required no earlier than 72 hours before arrival (for tourists who remain at 3 nights or more).

For those who entered tourists, quarantine is not provided.
