Dear Orenburgers!

77 years have passed since the last shots of the Great Patriotic War thundered – the most difficult and destructive in the history of mankind. In every Russian family, they carefully store the memory of the dead and missing – millions of people who have not returned home.
Our people committed the greatest feat, freeing the world from fascism. The victory was brought at the front and in the rear. Low bow to veterans, children of war, rear workers. Falled by the war, hard work, they remained incurious. We are in front of them in non -pay duty!
Unfortunately, today Russia again has to fight for its future. We are compelled to protect the security of our country so that war does not again come to our doorstep.
Our sacred duty is to keep our homeland free and independent.
May the sky over Orenburg and all of Russia always remain clean and peaceful. Happy holiday to you! Happy Victory Day!

Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler

Dear war veterans and home front workers, residents of the Orenburg region!

This year we are celebrating the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
This holiday is dear to the heart of every Russian. It contains a piece of the history of every family, every person.
Many of those who smashed the enemy on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, brought the victorious May closer with selfless labor, are no longer with us, but their memory is alive. The Soviet people showed the whole world strength of mind, steadfastness and courage, love for the Fatherland.
Today's generation looks up to the winners. Their feat will always be a moral guideline in strengthening the power of our Motherland, protecting its sovereignty.
Happy holiday, people of Orenburg, Happy Victory Day!

Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Orenburg Region Sergey Grachev

Dear Orenburgers! Dear veterans, home front workers and children of war!

Congratulations on the 77th anniversary of the Great Victory! This is a sacred holiday that we celebrate as a day of our national pride and memory of the glorious defenders of our Motherland.
We bow our heads with gratitude to all those who selflessly and heroically brought closer the long-awaited day of the Great Victory at the front and in the rear! You proved to the whole world that love for the native land, fortitude and valor make the people invincible.
We must not allow a repetition of those terrible events. And today, inspired by the great example of the generation of victors, their unparalleled courage and steadfastness, we are again waging an uncompromising struggle against Nazism in the name of a peaceful life and our prosperous future. And we know for sure that our cause is just and victory will be ours!
Happy holiday, dear Orenburgers! I wish you happiness, health and success in all your endeavors! And may the sky above us always be clear!

Mayor of Orenburg Sergey Salmin

Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers, children of war! Dear Orenburgers!

77 years have passed since May 1945, but the Eternal Flame, lit in honor of the feat of our soldier, does not go out, and the pain of loss and the joy of the Great Victory do not fade in our memory.
The front line was not destined to pass through Orenburg, but it was fundamentally boundless love for the Motherland in the hearts of the townspeople.
And already from the first days of the war, the inhabitants of our city lined up at the recruiting stations to go to defend their country.
May 9, 1945 will forever remain for us a day of glory and pride, a symbol of valor, courage and precisely that very boundless love for the Motherland.
Today we bow before the feat of front-line soldiers, are immensely grateful to the home front workers, as well as to all those who, in the difficult post-war years, raised destroyed cities from the ruins, restored factories, and established the national economy.
I sincerely wish you, dear Orenburg residents, good health, happiness, kindness and prosperity!
May love, harmony and mutual understanding reign in your families!
Happy holiday! Happy Victory Day!
