Weather forecasters talked about the weather in the Great Luki for the New Year

The calendar brings us closer to the main event of the year – the New Year holiday.

The winter holidays last more than a week and, due to the natural variability of atmospheric processes, have wide weather frames. So, according to Gismeteo data, in Velikiye Luki over the past 14 years, the temperature on New Year's holidays varied from −30 to +6, the amount of precipitation changed from 3 to 30 mm.

The coldest New Year was in 2017 (from −30 to +4), the warmest – in 2014 (−5 …. +6).

The coming New Year's Eve, according to weather forecasts, will be frosty: December 31 will be -6. -11, January 1: -7. -nine. Also, weather forecasters promise snow, and possibly snowfall.

Let's hope that the forecast will be true and we will celebrate the New Year “not in the conditions of snotty weather” and slush, but with preserved snowdrifts, invigorating frosts, “with normal Russian winter”.
