Exactly two years ago, I made my first trip in my small electric car to Yekaterinburg. Then, simple 16A Euro sockets were used to recharge the electric car.
This time the trip was carried out on a Nissan Leaf equipped with a 6.6 kW on-board charger. To recharge an electric vehicle, thanks to the EVSE Syso 6-32A, we can now use not only conventional, but also industrial 32 A sockets.
It is indicative that the start and finish were carried out from the already operating charging stations of Tyumenenergo JSC. Today, the pace of development of the charging infrastructure depends on the power industry, because private investors are not yet able to change the situation. Actually on the track for 2 years, almost nothing has changed.
But in order … To be able to recharge from various types of sockets, adapters were made. As long as there is no CHAdeMO on the track, you can only rely on your own strength, the help of friends and what is on the track.
The electric trucker's kit looked like this…

1. Charging cable Mennekes Type2/Type1 32A
2. Regular charging cable (without ground) 15 A with a socket
3. EVSE Syso 6-32A with 16A single-phase industrial socket
4. Adapter single-phase industrial socket 16A/16A Euro (blue/black)
5. Adapter single-phase industrial sockets 16A/32A (blue)
6. Adapter single-phase 32A / 32A 3-phase (blue / red)
7. Extension cord 16 A 30 meters

The purpose of the trip is not only visiting Innoprom-2018 and meeting new people. The main thing is to gain experience and, of course, add connection points to make life easier for owners of electric vehicles on the Tyumen-Yekaterinburg highway.

However, we have 160 km / charge on the track in eco mode at a speed of 70 km / h. Given the ability to charge from 32 A sockets, this particular speed of movement was chosen. Calling Yekaterinburg, I agreed on a CHAdeMO account with Vladimir from MRSK Ural, although the need to use a fast charging station eventually disappeared. I hope I will still have a reason to visit Yekaterinburg on an electric car and finally use this AP.

21.20 The weather deteriorated sharply and pitch darkness set in. The temperature dropped to +14.In conditions of rain and wind, it was not necessary to expect low consumption, however, the low flow rate of just over 40 km / h made it possible to calmly drive 8.4-8.9 km / kWh.

21.30 Literally after 30 km, the rain practically stopped, only lightning rifts and a beautiful glow of the outgoing evening remained.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a shield with industrial sockets here. 16 And the socket worked. The GPN guard did not object, moreover, he said that no one had used this socket for 6 years. So plugshare.com has a new hotspot.

23.36 At the Gazpromneft gas station N106 already familiar from the last trip, industrial sockets did not appear, however, according to old memory, 16A is available here and in order to reach Pyshma I have to stand here for another half an hour.
0.09 Just left the gas station, a teenager ran out onto the road. Slowly crossed the road to a quietly moving electric car)))

0.55 At the next gas station Gazpromneft in Pyshma, another switchboard cabinet with industrial sockets was found. Of all the outlets, only 16A worked. I didn’t want to stand for 7 hours, so I’m going further.

1.15 At the exit from the town in the pitch darkness of the gas station Lukoil found the same ray of light. Near the glowing cafe Pyshma was Shinka with the outlet I needed. Tire fitter Alexei could not be woken up, so setting EVSE to 25A, he checked the heating of the wires, quietly put it on charge and wandered off to a late dinner in a cafe. It was raining outside, so I covered the electrics with a film.
Closer to 2.00 jumped into the back seat…

5.15 Again, a well-known gas station at Pionerskaya in Bogdanovich, where I was met by local residents – a kitten and a fox.

The shield, beautifully standing right as it should, was safely silent due to the absence of current, and again I had to be content with the socket that I had two years ago.

I didn't want to linger. Moved further, but the search for industrial outlets further did not lead to anything good. The sleeping track was silent. The charge continued to melt, and it was no longer possible to reach the significant Beloyarsky and Mezenka …
The curve led me to the church being restored, where the early-rising Orthodox helped me out with their socket.

Charging time is long, and truth is born in a dispute with the local population. So the village of Gryaznovskoye learned about electric cars)))
9.55 The mark of 300 km has been passed and 35 km are left before the EXPO.

11.22 Having made a little fuss about the socket, I managed to get to the closed part of the parking lot, where local organizers provided an industrial socket for 32A. The quality of the network made it possible to obtain values ​​​​when charging up to 6.2 kW, which undoubtedly pleased. Well, in the meantime, we managed to see and communicate with manufacturers of electric vehicles, electric buses and APs.
